Disclaimer: Follow this guide is at your own risk. This guide is meant for educational purposes only.

So after spending hours looking at out-dated docs to configure my UBC hosted email, here’s a guide that will save you a good amount of time.

  1. Setup your email account on UBC Hosted mailbox at https://id.ubc.ca/
email blocked out for obvious reasons

2. Login to webmail http://webmail.alumni.ubc.ca/ using your username “CWLUSERNAME.stu” and CWL password

For ex, if my CWL was “johnsmith01”, my username would be “johnsmith01.stu”

If you are still unable to login to webmail, try resetting your https://www.myaccount.ubc.ca/myAccount/.

If that still doesn’t work, contact UBC IT services at 604–822–2008

P.S. You can download Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus for free! Thanks UBC :)
